Peace of Mind OSRS Services - How Your Account Is Handled, Start to Finish | Tons of XP Blog
Worried about bans from OSRS services? Here is exactly how a Tons of XP order works - one hand-playing trainer, a private live view, authenticator kept on, clear refunds - and the evidence you can check yourself.
Peace of mind means knowing exactly what happens to your account
Handing your Old School RuneScape account to someone else for a skilling grind, a quest chain or an Infernal Cape is a leap of faith. The fear behind most hesitation is simple: what if the account gets banned, or what if the service is not what it claims to be?
We are not going to answer that with a slogan. Account services are against Jagex's terms of service, and that risk sits with you, not with us. What we can do is show you precisely how an order runs, what we ask for, what you can watch, and what happens if something goes wrong, so the decision is yours to make with the facts in front of you.
How an order works, start to finish
1. You place the order
Add what you need to the cart on the services hub and check out, or skip the cart and message us directly on live chat, in a Discord ticket or by email at support@tonsofxp.com. Checkout hands the order to live chat, where we confirm the details (account build, current stats, gear) and take payment. Prices on the site are the starting point; once agreed in chat the price is fixed, unless the account turns out to be different from what was described. Payment is upfront, by card, PayPal, crypto, Revolut, iDEAL, Zelle, Interac, Venmo, Chime or OSRS gold. We do not sell gold.
2. One trainer is assigned
Your order goes to a single trainer from our own vetted team, and the same person normally stays on it from start to finish. If that trainer becomes unavailable mid-order, the order is usually reassigned and you are told. They play by hand on RuneLite with approved plugins only. No bots, no macros, no automation of any kind. Most orders start within an hour of confirmation, and every order starts within 24 hours; you get an exact start time on live chat before we begin.
3. Account access, without the myths
For most services the trainer logs into your account with your email and password. Two things people often get wrong:
- Your authenticator stays on. When the login asks for a code, we ask you for it, or for a backup code. You never need to disable it. Jagex Launcher accounts work the same way: the code is usually only needed once per order.
- The bank PIN is only requested when the service needs bank access. Gear swaps and restocking are the usual reasons. We tell you before work starts whether your order is one of those; many are not.
We strongly recommend a temporary password before the order and a fresh one after. If the account holds large wealth the service does not need, move it off first. Your login details are seen only by the trainer on your order and are deleted the moment the order completes. Need to log in mid-order? Ask on live chat or in your ticket and we pause.
If you would rather not share a password at all, most services offer a Parsec option: the trainer connects to your own PC and plays there, while you keep the login to yourself. It needs a stable connection, and extra charges may apply depending on the service.
4. You watch the work through a private live view
When work starts, your private link is available on Discord or live chat. It shows a screenshot of your account getting trained every three seconds while they are playing and pauses between sessions, so you can see the account being played by a person, in real time, whenever you like. The link is never shown publicly, and the screenshots are deleted when the order completes. Discord tickets also get automated progress updates; live-chat orders get updates on request.
5. Completion proof
When the agreed goal is reached, proof screenshots are posted in your Discord ticket. Live-chat orders get an email on completion and proof on request. Change your password and you are done.
6. If something goes wrong
The refund rules are short: cancel before work starts for a full refund; if we cannot finish, you get a full refund for the unfinished part; failed Fire Cape, Infernal Cape and Quiver attempts are retried until the cape is earned; after work has started, cancellations are handled case by case on live chat. Refunds go back the way you paid. If an account is actioned during an order, we deal with it case by case and work with you toward an agreement.
Why hand-played matters
Our method is simple: one real person plays your account on a normal client, at a normal pace, with normal breaks. We do not use bots, scripts or macros, and we do not claim to know exactly how Jagex's enforcement works. Playing by hand is how we operate and, to date, no account has been banned for work we did. It does not make the risk zero. Nothing does, and a provider that tells you otherwise is telling you what you want to hear.
Manual play has a practical upside too: a person handles a tricky mechanic, a bad RNG streak or a surprise game update in a way no script can, so orders finish properly instead of getting stuck.
Evidence you can check yourself
Every claim above is something you can verify rather than take on trust:
- Your own live view. The strongest evidence is the order itself, on screen, every three seconds.
- Trustpilot: 665+ reviews at a 4.9 TrustScore, written by customers describing the process you just read.
What you can count on
One vetted trainer playing your account by hand, a live view you can open whenever you like, a clear list of what we ask for and why, and refund rules that are applied the same way every time. To date, no account has been banned for work we did, and if anything about an order ever needs sorting out, we deal with it with you directly on live chat rather than hiding behind a policy.
That is what peace of mind looks like to us: not a slogan, but a process you can watch. If you have a question this article did not answer, ask on live chat; support is available 24/7.
