How long does In Search of Knowledge take?

Approximately 45-90 minutes. The main time sink is collecting 4 of each type of tattered page (Sun, Moon, Temple), as these are drops from monsters within the Forthos Dungeon with varying drop rates.

What are the requirements for this miniquest?

There are no specific skill or quest requirements to start. However, you will need to kill monsters in the Forthos Dungeon, so a combat level of 45+ is recommended.

What items are needed?

You need combat equipment to kill monsters, 5 pieces of food (meat, fish, or vegetable type) to heal Brother Aimeri at the start, and a slash weapon or knife to cut webs within the dungeon.

Where do the pages drop?

The Tattered Sun, Moon, and Temple pages drop from any monster inside the Forthos Dungeon, including Temple Spiders, Undead Druids, Baby Red Dragons, Red Dragons, and Sarachnis. Drop rates vary per monster.

What do I do with the pages and tomes?

Once you have 4 of each page type (Sun, Moon, Temple), find the three corresponding tomes (Tome of the Sun, Tome of the Moon, Tome of the Temple) by searching bookshelves in the library area within the Forthos Dungeon (near Undead Druids). Use the pages on the correct tome to fill them. Then, take the three completed tomes to Logosia in the Arceuus Library.

What is the reward?

You receive a Lamp of knowledge granting 10,000 XP in any skill that is level 40 or higher. You can also sell any extra pages you collect to Logosia for 1,000 coins each after completion.

Can Ironmen use this service?

Yes. Ironmen need combat gear, food (5 pieces to start), and a slash weapon/knife. The pages and tomes are obtained through gameplay within the dungeon.
