You must complete Throne of Miscellania, Heroes' Quest, Shield of Arrav, Lost City, Merlin's Crystal, Dragon Slayer I, and The Fremennik Trials. You also need 40 Agility and 40 Slayer, both of which can be boosted.

What items are needed?

The core quest items (5 Coal, 2 Rope, 1 Plank) are obtainable during the quest. You will need combat gear, food, and antipoison for the final boss fight.

How hard is the combat in Royal Trouble?

You fight the Giant Sea Snake (Level 149), which uses both Melee and Ranged attacks and inflicts strong poison. Protect from Melee/Missiles and Antipoison/Superantipoison are highly recommended. It can be safespotted.

What is the main benefit of completing Royal Trouble?

The most significant reward is enhanced resource yields from the Managing Miscellania minigame/activity. It also provides good Agility, Slayer, and Hitpoints XP.
