About The Giant Dwarf
The Giant Dwarf is the first quest in the Rise of the Red Axe series. It starts when your boat trip to Keldagrim goes awry, crashing into the city's statue of King Alvis. Arrested by the Black Guard, Commander Veldaban tasks you with commissioning a replacement statue. This requires gathering components 'fit for a king' for the sculptor's model, Riki: clothes (made by Vermundi after fixing her machine), boots (stolen from Dromund using Thieving and Telekinetic Grab), and an axe (obtained from Santiri, requiring gem embedding and repair by Thurgo the Imcando dwarf). Afterwards, you must join one of the seven accessible mining companies of the Consortium by running errands (delivering ores/bars) to gain their favour. Finally, you attend a Consortium meeting to vouch for your chosen company's director to be the model for the statue's head.
