Whisperer Strategy Notes

The Whisperer is a Magic fight in the Sunken Cathedral of the Lassar Undercity, and you must bring the Blackstone Fragment from the quest to start it. The whole encounter revolves around Sanity, which starts at 100%, drains 3% per tick inside the Shadow Realm, and only regenerates slowly outside it, so every trip into the realm is kept as short as possible. Her volleys are three projectiles of Ranged (purple) or Magic (blue) that mix in a different pattern each phase; damage lands on impact, so reaction flicks work. After each volley four shadow tentacles converge on your previous tile, dodged with an L-shaped step. At 80%, 55% and 30% HP she runs one of three specials: step on the light-green seeds (scout them from the Shadow Realm, then step in the real world), kill a matching set of Lost Souls with a fast multi-hit weapon such as the Venator Bow, or hide behind the weakest pillar first during her three screeches. Freeze her with an Ice spell when she launches the bind that follows a special, and stay more than five tiles away to avoid her melee.

The enrage below 140 HP pulls you into the Shadow Realm permanently and becomes a DPS race against your Sanity and Prayer drain. Tumeken's Shadow with Ancestral is the top setup, with a Sanguinesti Staff or Trident of the Swamp as the budget option, an Eldritch staff for Prayer, and thralls before the specials. A perfect kill grants 50% more standard loot. Are Bellator Ring/Virtus Robes/other unique drops guaranteed?

Unique drops from The Whisperer are based on OSRS RNG. The Bellator Vestige is ~1/1024 (Normal) / ~1/240 (Awakened). We cannot guarantee any specific unique drop. We guarantee successful boss kills.

Do you offer Awakened Whisperer kills?
