How long does Alfred Grimhand's Barcrawl take?

It's a medium-length miniquest, typically taking 20-40 minutes depending heavily on your available teleport methods to reach the various bars across Gielinor.

What are the requirements for the Barcrawl?

There are no skill or quest requirements to start. You will need around 208 coins to buy all the required drinks.

What items are needed?

You only need ~208 coins for the drinks. The Barcrawl card is given to you at the start by the Barbarian Guard. Teleport methods, energy/stamina potions, and potentially stat restore potions are highly recommended.

Is there any combat involved?

No, this miniquest involves no combat. However, some of the specialty drinks will temporarily lower your stats and/or deal minor damage.

What does the 'vial smashing' reward do?

After completing the barcrawl, you can talk to the Barbarian Guard again to unlock the ability to automatically smash empty vials when you drink the last dose of a potion. This feature can then be toggled on/off in the game settings.

Why complete this miniquest?

It's required to access the Barbarian Outpost Agility Course, which is needed for the Horror from the Deep and Scorpion Catcher quests, as well as the Medium Kandarin Diary. The vial smashing toggle is also a useful quality-of-life feature.
