What are the requirements for Scorpion Catcher?

You need to have completed Alfred Grimhand's Barcrawl. While not needed to start, 31 Prayer is required to access the upper floor of the Edgeville Monastery where one scorpion is found, and 70 Agility allows bypassing the need for a Dusty Key in Taverley Dungeon.

What items are needed?

No items are needed to start; Thormac provides the Scorpion Cage. During the quest, you will need a Dusty Key to access part of Taverley Dungeon if you have under 70 Agility. An Anti-dragon shield and antipoison are highly recommended for navigating Taverley Dungeon safely.

Is there any combat?

There are no required bosses. The main challenge is navigating Taverley Dungeon, which contains aggressive high-level monsters like Blue Dragons, Black Demons, and Poison Spiders. You only need to kill a level 47 Jailer if you need to obtain a Dusty Key during the quest.

What's the main reward?

Besides Strength XP, the main reward is unlocking the ability for Thormac to enchant a regular Battlestaff into a Mystic staff (various elemental types) for a fee of 40,000 coins.

Can Ironmen use this service?

Yes. The main challenge for Ironmen is navigating Taverley Dungeon safely. If they have under 70 Agility, they will need to kill the Jailer (Level 47) to obtain the Dusty Key.
