About Heroes' Quest

Heroes' Quest is the initiation task for the Heroes' Guild, located south of Burthorpe. Achietties requires three items: a Fire feather (obtained by killing a Firebird on Entrana while wearing Ice gloves, which drop from the Ice Queen under White Wolf Mountain - requires 50 Mining access), a Cooked lava eel (requires 53 Fishing, 25 Herblore; caught using an Oily fishing rod in Taverley Dungeon or Lava Maze, then cooked - requires 53 Cooking), and a Master Thieves' Armband. The armband requires coordinating with a player from the opposite gang chosen in Shield of Arrav. **Black Arm:** Impersonate guard Hartigen (requires black armour set) at Scarface Pete's mansion in Brimhaven, get a key from Grip, trade it to Phoenix partner, lure Grip into a room so partner can kill him through an arrowslit, loot Grip's keyring, get Candlesticks from chest, return one to Katrine in Varrock for armband. **Phoenix:** Get password from Straven in Varrock, speak to Alfonse/Charlie in Brimhaven inn, get key from Black Arm partner, enter mansion side room via secret passage, kill Grip through arrowslit when lured, receive one Candlestick from partner, return it to Straven for armband. Delivering all three items to Achietties grants access.

How long does Heroes' Quest take?

Approximately 1 to 1.5 hours. It involves significant travel (Burthorpe, Entrana, White Wolf Mt., Port Sarim, Taverley Dungeon/Lava Maze, Varrock, Brimhaven), several skill requirements, obtaining specific items, and coordinating with another player for the armband.

Is a partner absolutely required?

Yes, for the Master Thieves' Armband section, you need a player from the opposite gang chosen during Shield of Arrav to perform specific actions simultaneously (trading keys, killing Grip). Our service acts as your partner if needed.

What items are needed?

Depends on path/needs: Ice gloves (potentially requiring Pickaxe & combat gear for Ice Queen - Level 111), Fishing rod & bait, Harralander potion (unf), Dusty key (or 70 Agility) OR Knife/slash weapon for Lava Maze, Pickaxe (for Ice Queen path), specific Black Armour set (if Black Arm Gang), Ranged/Magic gear (if Phoenix Gang). Food/potions/teleports highly recommended.

How hard are the required fights?

Ice Queen (Level 111) for gloves can be tricky due to multicombat area. Grip (Level 22) is easy for Phoenix partner. Firebird (Level 2) is trivial. Jailer (Level 47) optional & easy. No other mandatory combat.

Can the skill requirements be boosted?

Yes, Cooking (53), Fishing (53), Herblore (25), and Mining (50) can all be boosted to perform the required actions.

What are the main benefits of the Heroes' Guild?

Access to the Fountain of Rune for recharging Glories (to 6 charges), ability to buy Dragon Battleaxes/Maces, and serves as a requirement for other quests/diaries.

Can Ironmen use this service?

Yes, but requires significant preparation. They must source all items themselves (including Harralander unf, fishing rod/bait, potentially black armour). Partnering (which our service provides) is still essential for the armband.
