What items are needed?

Steel longsword, 2 Steel swords, Steel mace, Steel warhammer, Steel dagger (all at once), Druid pouch (with 5+ charges), Hammer, 6 Planks, 225 Steel nails, 10 Coins OR Ring of charos (a) for boat passage. Combat gear/food/potions for the Level 97 Skeleton Hellhound.

Are the skill requirements boostable?

Agility and Magic can be boosted. Crafting (25) and Mining (15) requirements stated in prerequisite quest text for related actions are typically not boostable for those specific checks, though this quest text doesn't specify.

How hard is the Skeleton Hellhound fight?
