It's classified as 'Medium' length for a Master quest, typically taking 45-75 minutes. This includes investigation, dungeon exploration, gathering ritual items, and three boss fights.

What are the requirements for Perilous Moons?

You need to complete 'Twilight's Promise' and 'Children of the Sun'. Required skill levels are 48 Slayer, 20 Hunter, 20 Fishing, 20 Runecraft, and 10 Construction. The OSRS Wiki states these are required to start and cannot be boosted.

What items are needed for Perilous Moons?

Primarily combat equipment suitable for the boss fights. Other required tools (Knife, Big fishing net, Rope, Pestle and mortar) can be obtained during the quest from supply crates within the Neypotzli dungeon.

How difficult is the combat in Perilous Moons?

Challenging. You fight a level 98 Sulphur Nagua (easy with Protect from Melee). The main challenge lies with the three level 329 Moon bosses (Blue, Blood, Eclipse). Each has unique mechanics involving moving to protected floor circles, dealing with special attacks (weapon freeze, blood rain, damaging shield), and is weak to a specific melee style (Crush, Slash, Stab respectively). A combat level of 75+ with good melee stats/gear is recommended.

What are the Moons of Peril?

A mid-level group boss encounter unlocked by this quest, located within the Neypotzli dungeon. Players fight the three Moons sequentially or individually, earning unique rewards from the Lunar Chest.

Is Neypotzli a dangerous area?

Yes, the dungeon contains aggressive Sulphur Nagua which can poison players below combat level 100. The boss rooms themselves present the main danger.
