What are the requirements for Priest in Peril?

There are no skill or quest requirements to start this quest.

What items are needed for Priest in Peril?

You need 50 unnoted Rune essence or Pure essence (or a mix), and 1 empty Bucket. Combat gear is needed for fighting.

Is the combat difficult?

No. You fight a Level 30 Temple Guardian dog (cannot be killed with Magic) and Level 30 Monks of Zamorak (use Magic attacks, but can be safespotted). Basic combat gear is sufficient.

Why is Priest in Peril an important quest?

It is absolutely required to gain access to the entire Morytania region, including Canifis, the Mort Myre Swamp, and beyond. It's a prerequisite for many other quests.

What about the golden items in the dungeon?

During the quest, you can swap the Golden key for an Iron key at a monument. Optionally, you can bring other specific items (pot, feather, candle, tinderbox, needle, hammer) to swap for purely cosmetic golden versions at other monuments, but only *before* you finish talking to Drezel in the cell and he moves.

Can Ironmen use this service?

Yes. Ironmen need to obtain 50 essence (requires completing Rune Mysteries first for access to the mine) and a bucket (spawns in Varrock).
